HVL(BASSIANI/HOROOM)

David Datunashviliとのエレクトロニックミュージック・デュオ"Okinawa Lifestyle"としての側面を持つGigi Jikia(aka HVL)は、ジョージアはトビリシに位置するテクノ・クラブ"Bassiani/Horoom"のレジデントであり、トビリシのクラブシーンを中心に隆盛を見せるテクノ・ムーブメントを担う存在でもある。2013年にHVLとしてプロデューサー/DJのソロ活動を開始して以来、"Bassiani Records"、"Rough House Rosie"、"Tabernacle Records"、"Organic Analogue"といったアンダーグラウンドの中でも先鋭的なレーベルから自身の楽曲を発表している。近年、HVLはセレクターおよびDJとしての地位を高めていき、"BERGHAIN"、"Hï Ibiza"、"Berlin Atonal"等といった世界最高峰のダンスフロアで精巧に作り上げたLive setとDJを披露してきた。

First coming to attention as a member of Okinawa Lifestyle duo in 2009, Bassiani/Horoom resident Gigi Jikia a.k.a HVL has become a leading voice of thriving techno movement centered around Tbilisi club scene. Since starting solo career in 2013, HVL was busy exploring more diverse range of genres and styles. His solo releases which have appeared on underground outposts like Bassiani Records, Rough House Rosie, Tabernacle Records and Organic Analogue, have testified to taste that’s also reflected in his Live performances and DJ sets.

The outstanding debut Ostati LP on Organic Analogue Records (2018), intended as a manuscript of the sound of Tbilisi, is a seductive update on the established HVL’s dynamics, centered on outboard house and techno with a noticeably understated mood.

As HVL’s reputation as a solo artist grows, so does his status as a selector and DJ. Jikia has taken his skillfully crafted Live shows and DJ sets to new heights in 2018, hitting up some of the best dancefloors in the world from Berghain and Hï Ibiza to infamous Berlin Atonal.

Hamatsuki

Hamatsuki は、ジョージア・トビリシのクラブ”BASSIANI”に併設された”HOROOM”、そしてクィア・パーティー・シリーズ”Horoom Nights”のResident DJとして活動するMamuka Tskhadaiaのプロジェクトである。

彼の音楽的ルーツは、Hip Hop文化、特にJ. Dillaから受けた衝撃に遡る。Electronic musicへと歩みを進めるきっかけとなったのは、DJ Sprinklesのサウンドとの出会いであった。さらに、”Scissor and Thread”や”Lobster Theremin”といったレーベルの音楽は、彼にとって強いインスピレーションの源となり、のちのHamatsukiの作品にも色濃く反映されている。

「私にとって大切なのは、細部ではなく共通の感覚や感情に焦点を当てることだ。それがこのプロジェクトの軸だと考えている。また、私は決して“ダンスフロアのため”に特別な曲を書くことは無い。」と彼は語る。

その言葉通り、Hamatsukiの楽曲は深い感情の揺らぎや普遍的な感覚を捉えることを志向しているが、HOROOMでのプレイにおいては、House musicやLo-Fi soundsを中心とした独自のスタイルを展開している。

Hamatsuki is Mamuka Tskhadaia’s project, who is the resident DJ of HOROOM room and queer party series Horoom Nights.  Mamuka’s first musical impressions are linked to J. Dilla and the hip-hop culture in general. With electronic music he first became interested in hearing DJ Sprinkles. For him especially inspirational were sounds of the labels Scissor and Thread and Lobster Theremin, which later reflected in compositions of Hamatsuki. “For me it is important to focus on common senses or emotions rather than details. Accordingly, we may consider this as the main axis of the project. Also, I never write composition specially for dance or the dancefloor.” However, in a HOROOM’s residency Hamatsuki is mostly oriented on House and Lo-Fi sounds.

COGEE

ハードコアパンクバンドFASTSのメンバーとしてキャリアをスタート。USのレーベルSOUND POLLUTIONからフルアルバム、オムニバス2作品をリリース。SONYからリリースされた尾崎豊トリビュート（CD / DVD）に参加。2008年よりDJ活動を開始。FREEDOM PARTY COLLECTIVE「BLACKSHEEP」を始動。毎回場所とコンセプトが異なるパーティを全国各地で2025年現在までに115回開催している。自主レーベルからMIX TAPE 4作品、ZINE3冊、オムニバスLPをリリース。

志茂田カゲッキーズ、黒パイプのギタリストとしても活動中。

YUI

ALL ELECTRONIC MUSICをテーマに掲げDJ YUIのオープンクローズのDJを基軸としてきたDREAMESCAPEは、これまでにAKIRAM EN、Alessandro Adriani、Haruka、Konduku、Resom、Vladimir Ivkovic等といった国内外の極めて先鋭的な電子音楽家達を交え、先端のElectronic music soundを提案している。

YUI is Tokyo-based on DJ.His Party, DREAMESCAPE, which has been YUI's open-close DJing with the theme of ALL ELECTRONIC MUSIC, has featured AKIRAM EN and Haruka from Tokyo, Alessandro Adriani,Konduku,Resom, Vladimir Ivkovic and others from abroad.
